Should I click on a link in an email from someone I don't know?
No. Often times viruses will be unleashed on your computer when you click on links in emails. It is safest to not open the link at all.
Should I click on a link in an email from someone I do know?
Maybe not. Sometimes viruses steal email addresses and send out automated emails. Unless you know for sure the sender intended on sending you the email, it is safest to not open the link at all.
